Description

First gin produced at the distillery, gin is an invitation to travel, traced like a road on 18th-century maps. Inspired by the notebooks of Louis-Alexandre de La Rochefoucauld, an explorer and curious mind of the Enlightenment, this Dry Gin is a botanical exploration, precise and mineral.

The classic base of juniper, straight and crystalline, serves as the rocky foundation for the blend. It is enriched with coriander, with citrusy and airy notes, and cardamom, a traveling spice with warm, resinous notes. Together, they create a dry, structured gin that is both refined and balanced, where each botanical seems to have been harvested during a journey through mineral landscapes and distant herb gardens.

A gin with character, like a compass: precise, timeless, and deeply rooted in history.

 

 

Food and gin pairing

Monsieur gin best enjoyed with a cheese platter,with a preference for goat cheese, fresh or slightly matured.

Its aromatic palette, dominated by juniper berries and Mediterranean herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and sage, pairs naturally with the milky and tangy notes of goat cheese. Coriander and cardamom provide balance, while the resinous hints of pine needles enhance the overall freshness.

Served chilled, neat, or with a large ice cube, Monsieur gin also reveals livelier notes of ginger and lemongrass, which cut through the richness of the cheese and prolong the tasting experience.

For a simple and successful pairing, serve with country bread or plain crackers to allow the flavors of the gin and cheese to fully express themselves.
